sense of occasion

Our elegant Wellington Town Hall is closing for three years from 2013 for earthquake strengthening. While we will miss this impressive and versatile venue for a little while, we are thrilled to offer Shed 6, now open for business, as well as a range of stunning venues within the Positively Wellington Venues precinct.

If you had your heart set on the Wellington Town Hall, we are more than happy to discuss other options and help you find the right venue to make your event a success. If you can wait a little or have exciting plans for the future, we are taking bookings for 2017 onwards.

Just contact us by email or give our sales team a call on 04 801 4207.

Wellington Town Hall Strengthening Project

Over the years alot of work has been done to make this 1904 historic building safe, however its foundations are now over 100 years old. Several options were considered and the choice was to install base isolators - special pads that move and stretch absorbing the impact of an earthquake, helping protect the building and people who use it.

We'll provide key information as it comes to hand.
