The Opera House three-tier auditorium and stage inspire creativity and a real sense of occasion.
The surroundings provide a dramatic setting for on-stage dinners and cocktail functions. The intricate architecture, combined with subtle ambient lighting creates an ambience that offers more than a little bit of suspense.
The Opera House is a smaller, more intimate theatre where performers can feel really close to their audience. Its warm and cosy feel is enhanced by the traditional ruby-coloured Auditorium.
Built around the same time as the St James, the Opera House has a traditional proscenium arch flanked by two tiers of boxes with the audience seated on three levels.
Not only does this iconic building provide a welcoming performance space, but the Opera House provides a striking backdrop for conference and events having housed a wide variety of functions including public meetings, AGMs, gala dinners and cocktail receptions on the stage.
